Lighting is no longer seen as merely a complementary element in a building. As the worlds of architecture and interior design continue to evolve, lighting has taken on an increasingly strategic role in shaping the character of a space, creating ambiance, and enhancing user comfort.
From selecting the right light intensity to determining the ideal color temperature, every decision in lighting design can create a different experience. That is why lighting has become an essential aspect to consider from the very beginning of the design process.
Recognizing the importance of this role, Morgen presented Morgen Lighting Talks: Lighting Perspective for Modern Architecture as one of the featured activities at IndoBuildTech 2026. The session took place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Hall 7, Booth D1, ICE BSD City.
Featuring two distinguished speakers—Danang Ismoyo, Lighting Design Director at Pavilion95, and Nadya Azalia, Architect Director at NAAD Studio—the discussion explored various perspectives on the role of lighting in creating spaces that meet users’ needs while maintaining strong aesthetic value.

A wide range of engaging topics was discussed throughout the session, including modern and futuristic lighting design trends, selecting the right color temperature for different types of spaces, and the importance of integrating lighting seamlessly with the overall interior concept.
The speakers also emphasized that lighting serves a purpose beyond simply illuminating a space. Well-planned lighting can enhance comfort, improve productivity, and create a better overall experience for every user.
Participants showed great enthusiasm through the interactive discussions that continued throughout the event. The diverse questions and perspectives shared during the session enriched the conversation while reflecting the growing interest in the role of lighting within the architecture and interior design industries.

Through Morgen Lighting Talks, Morgen hopes to continue providing a platform for architects, interior designers, and industry professionals to exchange knowledge and ideas. This initiative reflects Morgen’s commitment to supporting the advancement of modern architecture through innovative, functional, and relevant lighting solutions that meet today’s evolving needs.
